Hello!

I’m Dr. Tehrani (She/Her), a psychologist dedicated to providing comprehensive and culturally congruent care. I am passionate about creating a safe space for growth and healing, where individuals can explore their unique experiences and challenges.

About Me

I specialize in supporting clients through a range of issues, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and identity development. I value working with queer and gender-diverse communities, BIPOC communities, and individuals from all walks of life. My goal is to ensure that everyone feels seen, heard, and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.

In our work together, I draw on various therapeutic modalities tailored to your specific needs. My approach emphasizes the importance of understanding the systemic factors that influence mental health while fostering resilience and meaningful change. Together, we will explore your values, identify patterns in your life, and create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, hiking, and traveling. Friends often call me a foodie, as I love trying local restaurants in Los Angeles. I’m also a proud cat and dog mom, and my furry companions may occasionally join us during telehealth sessions!

Thank you for considering me as your partner on this journey. I look forward to supporting you in your growth and well-being.

Education & Background

I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, where I developed a strong foundation in therapeutic practices. My doctoral training included valuable experiences at Tarzana Treatment Centers, where I worked with individuals facing substance use and co-occurring disorders, and at Insight Collective, providing neuropsychological assessments for children. Additionally, I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA, where I had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of my work in private practice, I am also the Assistant Clinical Director of Community Relations & Engagement at UCLA CAPS. In my role there, I also serve as a supervisor, oversee our ADHD clinic, and co-chair of the Trans Wellness Team where we focus on providing integrative care for gender diverse students.
